The KCET recorded 10 out-of-syllabus questions for the Biology paper and 17 out-of-syllabus questions for the Mathematics paper this year. You can object to these questions by sending an email to keaugcet24@gmail.com until April 27, 2024.
New Delhi: The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024 was recently held on April 18 and 19, 2024. However, many students who appeared for the KCET 2024 exam have reported questions that were “out of syllabus” in the KCET 2024 Biology and Mathematics paper conducted on April 18, 2024.
According to reports, students said that 10 questions in the KCET 2024 Biology question paper and 17 questions in the KCET 2024 Mathematics paper were from deleted parts of the NCERT syllabus. The KCET exam is held by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
As per the reports from The Hindu, the out-of-syllabus questions for the KCET 2024 Biology question paper came from chapters such as “Strategies for enhancement in food production”, “reproduction in organisms” and “environmental issues”. Similarly, the out-of-syllabus questions for the KCET 2024 Mathematics question paper came from chapters like “3D Geometry”, “Vectors”, and the ‘random variability sector in the “Probability” chapter.
KEA Asks Students to Send In Objections Until April 17
To correctly evaluate the students who took the KCET 2024 exam this year, the KEA has announced an objection window. Those who attempted the KCET 2024 exam can submit objections about out-of-syllabus questions by sending an email to keaugcet24@gmail.com.
According to a notice released by the KEA on April 19, 2024, you have to indicate the Subject, Version Code, and Question Number while objecting to the KCET 2024 question paper. You can submit your objections about the KCET 2024 question papers until 5:30 PM on April 27, 2024. The KEA will consider these objections before they release the KCET 2024 result on May 20, 2024.
