MAH MBA lateral entry provisional merit list 2024 has been released. The merit list is available on the official website i.e. https://mbale2024.mahacet.org.in/.

Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell released the provisional merit list for admission directly to the MBA second year (Lateral Entry). The authority also extended the registration date till October 23, 2024, 3 pm for Non-CAP and verification of application till October 23, 2024, 5 pm.

The list of eligible candidates for admission to direct the second year (Lateral Entry) has been released on the official website of the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. Candidates can also check the list using the direct link provided below.

Eligibility Criteria for MAH MBA Lateral Entry Counselling

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • A minimum aggregate score of 50% is required (or 45% for reserved categories).
  • Graduates from professional streams such as BBA or BCA are eligible.

Registration Process of Non-CAP

The registration process for NON-CAP is simple but candidates should be careful while following each step:

  1. Visit the Official Website i.e. https://mbale2024.mahacet.org.in/.
  2. Create a New Account by providing your name, email ID, mobile number, and educational qualifications.
  3. Fill out the Application Form with correct information, personal details, academic details, and college/course preferences.
  4. Upload scanned copies of the following documents:
    • Bachelor’s degree certificate
    • MAH MBA scorecard
    • Domicile certificate (if applicable)
    • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  5. Pay the registration fee online through the payment gateway. Save the payment receipt for future reference.
  6. After all the above steps, review the application carefully before submitting it.

Counselling Process

  • After registration, candidates will have to go through a verification process where their submitted documents will be checked.
  • Candidates will have to fill their choices for courses and colleges. This is the most important step as it will decide the seat allocation based on the candidate’s rank and choices.
  • After choice filling, seats will be allotted to candidates based on their rank in the entrance exam, choices filled by the candidate during registration and availability of seats in the preferred colleges.
  • After the allotment, candidates have to report to the allotted college for admission with required documents and admission fee.

Participating Institutions

Approximately 150 colleges across Maharashtra accept students through the MAH MBA Lateral Entry Counseling process. Notable institutions include the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies and the Sydenham Institute of Management Studies.
