The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the last date for NEET PG 2025 Round 2 choice filling and locking to December 12, 2025.

Students must not delay and should complete the process early to avoid any last-minute issues. The extension comes after MCC added 2,620 new postgraduate medical seats to the counselling pool, increasing the total seats available in Round 2 to 32,080.
This includes 17,623 clear vacancies, 11,837 virtual vacancies, and the recently added seats.
Candidates need to pay an application fee for NEET PG counselling. The fee details are as follows: General/OBC/EWS candidates: ₹1,000SC/ST/PwD candidates: ₹500. This fee must be paid during the registration or counselling process online via net banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI.

To be eligible for NEET PG counselling, candidates must:
Have qualified NEET PG 2025 examination as per the prescribed cut-offs. Possess an MBBS degree or a provisional MBBS pass certificate from a recognised medical college. Have completed or be in their final year of internship by the date specified by MCC.
