NCET 2026 City Intimation Slip Out; Exam Scheduled for April 17–18

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the City Intimation Slip for NCET 2026 on April 9, 2026. Candidates can download their examination city allotment slip from the official NTA website at https://exams.nta.nic.in/ncet/. The city intimation slip provides advanced information about the examination centre location for each candidate. Candidates must use their application number to access and download their city intimation slip from the portal.

The NCET 2026 examination will be conducted on April 17 and April 18, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Due to unavoidable circumstances, an additional shift has been added on April 18, 2026. The examination will now be conducted in three shifts across both days. Candidates must check their city intimation slip to know their assigned examination centre and shift timing.

NCET 2026 is conducted for admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) across various institutions. The examination tests candidates' knowledge in relevant subjects and their aptitude for teacher education. Candidates who qualify NCET 2026 will be eligible for admission to teacher education programmes. The examination is conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for convenience and standardisation.

Examination Schedule for NCET 2026:

• Exam on April 17, 2026: Shift-1 (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM), Shift-2 (3:00 PM to 6:00 PM)
• Exam on April 18, 2026: Shift-1 (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM), Shift-2 (3:00 PM to 6:00 PM)
• Additional Shift: Added on April 18, 2026
• Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

The City Intimation Slip is NOT the Admit Card for NCET 2026, as clarified by NTA. This slip provides advance information about the allotment of the examination city and centre location. The actual Admit Card for NCET 2026 will be issued later on the official website.
