Only one-time correction will be allowed to the candidate. Once the corrections are done and submitted, the form shall be frozen.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has activated the correction window for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026. This facility is designed for candidates who have already successfully submitted their application forms but need to rectify errors or update specific details.

The National Common Entrance Test (NCET) is a national-level examination conducted by the NTA for admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programmes (ITEP) at select Central/State Universities, IITs, NITs, and RIEs. The 2026 exam is a computer-based test (CBT) covering language, subject, and teaching aptitude.

Candidates can access the correction link through the official portal at nta.nic.in. It is important to note that this is a one-time facility, and no further changes will be permitted once the window closes. Candidates are advised to review their details carefully, especially educational qualifications and examination city preferences, as these impact the final admit card issuance.

Candidates are permitted to edit their Class 10 and 12 details, exam city preferences, and medium of examination. They may also change either their name, father’s name, or mother’s name (only one of these). Certain critical information like the registered mobile number, email address, and permanent/present address cannot be changed.

While many corrections are free, any change that impacts the candidate's category (e.g., changing from SC/ST to General) may require the payment of an additional fee. Conversely, if a change results in a lower fee, the NTA will not provide a refund.

The changes will only be saved after the candidate clicks the final submit button. It is recommended to download and print the updated Confirmation Page for future reference.

Candidates are advised to visit the official website at nta.nic.in and collegedunia.com for the latest updates.
