New Delhi: The National Board of Examination in Medical Science has reduced the NEET PG 2024 Exam fee by INR 750 for all candidates. Applicants submitting their application form for the NEET PG Examination after January 1, 2024 will have to pay the reduced fee.

According to the official notification, the NEET PG 2024 Exam fee is less than the application fee charged in 2013. This policy came into effect on January 1, 2024 to lessen the financial strain on a large number of candidates who are preparing to appear in upcoming exams.

The NEET PG 2024 application fee for OBC and General category in 2013 was INR 3,750. Later the fee was increased to INR 4,250 in 2021. However, the board has now reduced the fee to INR 3,500 from January 1, 2024.

President of NBEMS, Dr Abhijat Sheth extended his gratitude towards the Union Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya for his leadership, because of which the board has achieved its objective to improve the quality of medical education in the country.

"I assure you on behalf of the governing body, NBEMS, that NBEMS will continue to work towards providing more specialist manpower, conducting quality examinations, providing training opportunities, and so on under your guidance", he said in his letter.
