NEET SS 2024 Counselling Starts @mcc.nic.in, Check Schedule, Results and Reporting Dates

The NEET SS 2024 counselling process began on May 13, 2025, by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The last date of NEET SS registration is May 18, 2025, 3 PM. The NEET SS 2024 Counselling Round 1 Choice Filling process began on May 14, 2025, and the last date to fill and lock choices is May 18, 2025, 11.55 PM. MCC has also released the seat matrix for the NEET SS counselling 2024 Round 1 for All India and Tamil Nadu state separately.

• There are 3,682 seats at the All India level
• 196 seats at Tamil Nadu institutes.

Hence, the total number of seats available in the first round of NEET SS 2024 counselling is 3,878.

NEET SS Counselling Rounds

The NEET SS counselling process is conducted for DM, MCh and DNB SS seats across India, for the All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The NEET SS counselling 2024 will have three rounds.

• The entire round will conclude on May 26, 2025.
• The entire counselling process for NEET SS 2024 is scheduled to conclude on July 7, 2025.
• According to MCC, the academic session 2024 will commence on June 20, 2025.

The NEET SS counselling process is held online. MCC allocates seats based on choice declared, seat availability and other factors. A separate PDF is released for each round of counselling results.

The NEET SS counselling registration window will remain open until May 18, 2025. Some other important dates for NEET SS Counselling 2024 are:

• Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate as proof of birth
