The MCC has reopened the resignation process for Round 1 of NEET SS Counselling 2023. Candidates allotted INI SS seats, seeking to resign from their NEET SS allocated seats, are required to send an email to MCC by 10 AM on December 12, 2023

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has reopened the resignation process for Round 1 of NEET SS counselling 2023. Candidates who have been assigned INI SS seats and intend to resign from the NEET SS allocated seats must email MCC by 10 AM on December 12, 2023.

Candidates in this category need to forward their INI SS Rank Letter and the undertaking to MCC at colleges.superspeciality@gmail.com. The option for resignation will be available from 3 PM on December 12 to 5 PM on December 14, 2023.

As per MCC guidelines, candidates assigned seats in INIs who intend to resign should contact their allocated college to complete the resignation process and retrieve their original documents within the specified timeframe.

Candidates must ensure that the resignation letter is generated 'Online' from the MCC portal by the college authorities. Any offline resignations conducted by the college will be considered 'Null & Void'.

MCC further highlighted that the INI allotted candidates failing to report to their allocated seats will be granted Free Exit only if they send emails with the necessary documents within the specified timeframe. Candidates are urged to regularly check the website for updates on the subsequent counselling schedule.

Initially, the deadline for resigning from NEET SS Counselling 2023 Round 1 seats was December 3, extended to December 4 at 6 PM. The commencement of the Round 2 registration process, initially set for December 5, has been deferred until further notice.

Based on the notification regarding the reopening of Round 1 seat resignations, it is anticipated that the registration process for NEET SS Counselling Round 2 will commence on or after December 15, 2023. However, MCC has not yet issued the revised schedule for NEET SS Counselling 2023 Round 2.
