The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched the official portal for NEET UG 2026 and issued an important advisory for aspiring medical candidates ahead of the registration process. The advisory focuses on updating key documents before filling out the NEET UG 2026 application form.

Advisory on Updating Documents Before NEET UG 2026 Registration

The notice urges students to verify and update essential documents, including Aadhaar card, UDID card and category certificate, before filling out the NEET (UG) application form to avoid errors or rejection.

Aadhaar Card Details Must Be Accurate

Candidates are advised to check that all details on their Aadhaar card are correct and updated. This includes the candidate’s name, date of birth, gender, photograph, and biometric information. Any mismatch between Aadhaar details and the NEET application form may lead to problems during form submission or counselling.

UDID Card for PwD Candidates

Students applying under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category must ensure that their UDID (Unique Disability ID) card is valid and updated. An expired or incorrect UDID card may result in rejection of PwD-related benefits during admission or counselling.

Category Certificate Verification

Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-NCL, or EWS categories should verify that their category certificates are valid and issued by the appropriate authority. Students are advised to update or renew certificates in advance, as incorrect or outdated documents may lead to disqualification from reserved category benefits.

NEET UG 2026: What’s Next?

While the official registration dates and examination schedule are yet to be announced, NEET UG 2026 is expected to be conducted in May 2026. Based on the previous year’s timeline, the NEET UG 2026 registration process is likely to begin in February 2026 and continue until March 2026.
