NERIST NEE 2026 Registration Begins @neeonline.ac.in; Apply Online Till March 31

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) has started the online application process today, January 9, 2026, for the NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) 2026. The entrance exam is conducted for admission to various certificate, undergraduate, and engineering programmes offered by the institute.

As per the official admission notification, eligible candidates can now submit their applications online through neeonline.ac.in or nerist.ac.in. The last date to apply is March 31, 2026. Applications will be accepted only in online mode.

Admissions through NEE 2026 include NEE-I for Certificate courses, NEE-II for B.Tech, B.Sc, and B.Sc (Hons.) Forestry, BBA programmes, and NEE-III for lateral entry into BTech courses. Eligibility requirements vary by programme and range from a Class 10 qualification to a Class 12 (PCM/PCB) and engineering diplomas, depending on the course applied for.

The NERIST NEE application fee is ₹1,500 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates are required to pay ₹1,000, excluding payment gateway charges. The fee once paid is non-refundable.

Applicants are required to select two examination centres while filling the application form, with final allotment subject to availability. The NEE 2026 results are scheduled to be declared by May 20, 2026.
