The NEST exam is conducted annually for admission to the five-year Integrated MSc programmes offered by NISER Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai.

The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2026 notification has been officially released on the examination’s website, nestexam.in. NEST is a national-level computer-based test conducted for admission to the five-year Integrated MSc programmes offered by the NISER Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai.
As per the announced schedule, the online application process for NEST 2026 will commence on January 5, 2026, at 10:00 am. Eligible candidates can submit their application forms online until April 6, 2026, up to 11:30 pm. A correction and update window will be made available from April 13 (10:00 am) to April 14, 2026 (10:00 am), allowing applicants to make limited modifications to their submitted forms.

The admit cards for NEST 2026 will be available for download from May 15, 2026, starting at 10:00 am. The entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on June 6, 2026 (Saturday), from 2:00 pm onwards, across approximately 140 cities nationwide. Dates for the mock test, answer key challenge, result declaration, and scorecard download will be announced at a later date.
The application fee is ₹700 for female candidates of all categories, SC/ST/Divyangjan applicants, and UR-EWS candidates, while male candidates from UR and OBC categories are required to pay ₹1,400.
