Netaji Subhash Open University (NSOU) is inviting applications for admission to its Post Graduate Programmes for the January 2025 session. The last date for online application is January 31, 2025 (9:00 pm). However, the candidates must upload their documents by February 1, 2025 (9:00 pm).

M.Sc in Mathematics (Code PGMT)

• Non-CBCS: Honours Graduate (10+2+3) in Mathematics.
• CBCS: Honours Graduate (10+2+3) with Core Course (CC)/ Discipline Specific Elective (DSE)/ Equivalent in Mathematics.

M.Sc. in Zoology (Code PGZO)

• Non-CBCS: Honours Graduate (10+2+3) in Zoology.
• CBCS: Honours Graduate (10+2+3) with Core Course (CC) / Discipline Specific Elective (DSE)/ Equivalent in Zoology.

M.Sc. in Geography (Code PGGR)

• Marks relaxation for SC/ST candidates as per W.B. Government rules.
• Before online submission of the application form, candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility with their testimonials.
• University accepts fees only through Bank Challan (obtained from the admission website after submission of the application form) or Online Payment Gateway (service available at the admission website only after submission of the application form).
• Incomplete applications or uploading of illegible documents on the admission portal will not be accepted.
• Applicants are strongly encouraged to take special care about the payment dates for admission; failure to do so will result in the deprivation of admission.
• Regularly visit the admission website to check your application status and obtain the provisional enrollment certificate and SLM receipt.
• Admission fee refunds will follow university rules in line with the UGC refund policy.
• If any information is found incorrect, false, or forged, admission and degree will be cancelled, and no refund will be issued.
• Applicants paying via debit/credit card or net banking must use their own bank account.

Note: In case of a failed payment, the amount will be transferred back to the original account.

As per UGC-DEB directives, obtaining a DEB ID is mandatory for pursuing any program under Open and Distance Learning. Applicants must get their DEB ID from the UGC-DEB portal (deb.ugc.ac.in/StudentDEBId) and submit/verify it through the university’s admission portal.
