NeXT Mock Test 2023 cancelled . The exam registration und will be refunded to the candidates, said an NMC official.

New Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has cancelled the mock test for NeXT Exam 2023. Candidates who registered for the exam can claim their refunds on the official website aiimsexams.ac.in.
The NExT exam was scheduled to be conducted on July 28. Later, NMC had deferred the exam till further notice on the advice of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
“It is hereby informed that as per communication received from NMC and the decision of the competent authority, the Mock/ Practice Test of National Exit Test (NExT) scheduled to be held on 28th July 2023 stands cancelled. The refund process of registration fees of candidates who have registered and paid fees for the Mock/ Practice National Exit Test (NExT) has been initiated,” reads the official notification.

Mock will be cancelled and fee refunded.
Candidates belonging to the General or OBC category had to pay an application fee of Rs 2,000 while the candidates belonging to the SC, ST, EWS category had to register for NeXT Exam 2023 by paying a fee of Rs 1,000.
The mock test was scheduled for the students to have an idea before appearing for the actual NExT exam 2023. The AIIMS NExT exam 2023 will be conducted in two steps – step 1 and step 2. While NExT step 1 will be a computer-based examination, NExT step 2 will be a practical/clinical examination.
NExT will begin with the batch passing in 2024 and will have to be taken by all undergraduate (UG) MBBS students.
