NIT Raipur has released the list of candidates for the written entrance examination for PhD Spring 2025 admissions. The written entrance examination will be conducted on December 18, 2024. The interview is scheduled for December 19, 2024 and December 20, 2024 (if required).

NIT Raipur PhD Interview
The interview for PhD admission at NIT Raipur is scheduled for December 19, 2024 (and if required, December 20, 2024) from 10:00 a.m. onwards. The interview will be conducted at the concerned departments. However, the document verification process will commence from 09.00 am on the day of the interview at the concerned departments.
NIT Raipur PhD Documents Required
Applicants are instructed to bring and keep ready all the documents (in original and one set of photocopies) for the document verification process.
- Qualification/ Degree certificate
- Caste/ category certificate (if applicable, as per the latest central format given in Information Bulletin)
- Experience certificates
- Sponsorship certificate
- No-Objection certificate (if applicable)
- Valid NET-qualified certificates (if applicable)
NIT Raipur PhD Important Instructions
- Late arrivals beyond 10 minutes of the exam commencement time shall not be permitted in written exam
- Candidates are advised to report at the venue 30 minutes before the Entrance Exam begins
- Attach a Passport Size Photograph on the admit card
- Candidates must bring their Aadhar Card bearing the ID number mentioned in the application, in the absence of which candidates will not be allowed to appear in the Entrance Exam
- Carry a blue/black ballpoint pen in the written entrance examination center
- Non-programmable calculators are permitted
- Mobile/ smartwatches/ smart gadgets and other similar smart devices are prohibited in the written examination and interview
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Examination
Applicants who have cleared NET (Lecturership)/ M.Phil. may avail of a waiver from appearing in the written entrance examination. Such candidates may appear directly in the interview but shall not remain eligible for institute fellowship if selected for PhD programme. If the candidates want to avail of the institute fellowship, they must appear and qualify for the entrance examination.
