State-issued Backward Community (BC) or Most Backward Community (MBC) certificates are not valid for OBC-NCL.
The Department of Management Studies (DoMS) at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli, has extended the application window for its 48th MBA batch. As an Institute of National Importance and the top-ranked B-School among all NITs in the NIRF rankings, it offers a prestigious two-year full-time program.
Candidates who have appeared for CAT 2025 are eligible to apply. The selection process includes shortlisting based on CAT scores and undergraduate performance, followed by offline personal interviews. For the 2026 session, interviews are tentatively scheduled in Noida/Delhi NCR, Nagpur, Kolkata, Chennai, and Tiruchirappalli.

Candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks (6.5 CGPA) for General/OBC-NCL/EWS and 55% marks (6.0 CGPA) for SC/ST/PwD in their undergraduate degree. If a mark sheet shows both CGPA and percentage, the institute will consider onlythe CGPA; conversion between the two is not permitted.
GEN-EWS and OBC-NCL certificates must be dated between April 2025 and March 2026. State-issued BC or MBC certificates are not valid for the OBC-NCL category. Applicants are not required to submit a physical copy of their application to the institute.
Final-year students can apply but must meet all eligibility criteria at the time of admission. Original documents will be verified during physical reporting. DoMS offers a choice-based elective system, a cost-effective fee structure, and a global alumni network spanning 47 years.
