NTA has also announced that NEET UG 2024 will be conducted in 14 centres abroad in different countries outside India.

New Delhi: The National testing Agency (NTA) has announced that it has added 69 new exam centres for NEET UG 2024 Exam. Earlier the count was 499, which has now been increased to 568 from 2024.
NTA has taken the above said decision for the ease of students to take the NEET UG 2024 exam from a centre near to their residence.
Also, there has been 14 new overseas centres added to the list. Earlier, the committee had announced that it will not conduct the exam abroad. But later, it was decided that NEET UG 2024 will be conducted in 14 centres abroad.
The registration process for NEET UG 2024 is currently underway and will continue until March 9, 2024 (up to 05:00 PM). Candidates who have already submitted their application forms can modify their exam center using the application form correction facility.
“Candidates who have already selected centres in India and paid the fee without the option for foreign centres will have the opportunity to correct their centre and country choice during the correction window. The window will open after the registration window closes,’ read the official notice.

Participants will be responsible for any additional costs that may arise from changing their preferred examination centres, as per the guidelines set by the NTA. For those newly registering from abroad for NEET 2024, opting for a test centre has been made easier; they can simply pick their desired city from a drop-down list available during the sign-up process.
With adding new centres, NTA has also removed three domestic exam centres which are Malegaon (Maharashtra), Rairangpur (Odisha) and Faizabad (Uttar Pradesh).
