NTA NCET 2024 Registration Deadline Extended till May 15; Check Revised Dates & Direct Link Here

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the extension of the registration deadline for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2024 till May 15, 2024. Candidates who have not yet registered for NTA NCET 2024 can do it through the official website at ncet.samarth.ac.in or via the direct link below!

Earlier, the last date to submit the NCET 2024 application form was set to April 30, 2024. However, with the extension of the application deadline, the NTA has also extended the date for the application form correction window. 

As per the revised schedule, candidates will be able to make corrections to their NCET 2024 application forms between May 16 and May 18, 2024. Initially, the NCET 2024 application form correction period was held from May 2 to May 4, 2024.

NCET 2024 is conducted by the NTA for admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) at participating central and state universities, as well as other institutions, including Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for the academic session 2024-25.

Who is Eligible to Apply for NCET 2024?

NCET 2024 exam will be held on June 12, 2024. Candidates who have cleared the class 12 or equivalent examination are eligible to appear for the exam. The dates of advanced city slip, admit card, and results will be displayed on NCET portal at the designated time. 

How to Apply for NTA NCET 2024?

Candidates can go through the following steps to apply for NTA NCET 2024.

Step 1: Go to the official NTA website, ncet.samarth.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the NCET 2024 registration link.

Step 3: Now, complete the registration process by entering the required details. 

Step 4: Then, upload the required documents, make the fee payment, and submit the application form. 

Step 5: Download the NCET 2024 application form and take a printout for future reference.

What is the NCET 2024 Application Fee?

Candidates belonging to the general category will have to pay an application fee of INR 1,200 to register for the NCET 2024. Candidates from other backward classes - non-creamy layer (OBC-NCL) and economically weaker section (EWS) will have to submit INR 1,000.

Additionally, scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), and third-gender students will be required to pay INR 650 as NCET 2024 registration fee.
