The questions are based on the State Model Syllabus (CBCS) of the respective Undergraduate (UG) subject.

The Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha, has released the revised timeline for the Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPET) 2026. Candidates who have completed graduation from a UGC-recognised university are eligible to apply for Odisha CPET 2026. Applicants must have secured at least 24 credits in the relevant elective subject at the undergraduate level to be considered eligible for admission into the respective PG course.
According to the new notification, the CPET 2026 entrance examination will now be held from May 5 to May 18, 2026. Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the SSB Odisha website starting April 30, 2026.
Following the exam, the provisional answer keys will be published on May 19, 2026, and students will have a three-day window to raise objections by paying a processing fee of Rs. 200 per question. The department has stated that dates for merit list publication and seat allotment will be notified separately at a later stage.

No candidate will be allowed into the exam hall without a printed Hall Ticket. Ensure all details on the ticket are correct upon downloading on April 30.
If a student finds a discrepancy in the provisional answer key, they must challenge it via their Student Login on the SAMS portal. A non-refundable fee of Rs. 200 per question is required, payable only online. Students should keep their graduation marks and certificates ready, as the updation of Graduation/Equivalent marks and choice filling will occur shortly after the revised answer keys are hosted.
