Panjab University has announced an extension for the PU MET 2026 registration. Prospective students seeking admission into MBA program at the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) now have until April 05, 2026, to complete their online registration.

Panjab University Management Entrance Test (MET) is a mandatory requirement for specialized MBA sectoral programs, including Retail Management, Banking & Insurance, IT & Telecommunications, Pharmaceutical Management, and Hospital Management.

The entrance examination is scheduled to take place on April 12, 2026, in Chandigarh. Candidates are advised to download their admit cards from the official website using their login credentials, as no physical copies will be dispatched.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 50% aggregate marks. Specific programs like IT or Pharmaceutical Management require backgrounds in Engineering, Science, Pharmacy, or Medicine. Admission is determined by the Management Entrance Test (MET) score. The university evaluates candidates based on their entrance performance, followed by subsequent criteria outlined in the official 2026 prospectus.
