Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has released the revised schedule for the Punjab NEET PG Round 2 Counselling 2025. This update comes in response to the modified schedule issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The revised dates apply to candidates seeking admission into MD, MS, PG Diploma, DNB, and other postgraduate medical courses under the State Quota.

Candidates who joined seats in Round 1 are granted a "Free Exit" option, allowing them to surrender their current seats until December 18, 2025, up to 5:00 PM. To do this, they must submit a formal application to the Principal of their respective medical college.

Once the choice filling and seat surrender window closes, the university will conduct the processing of seat allotments from December 19 to December 21, 2025. The results of this process will be made public on December 23, 2025, when the provisional allotment list is displayed. Candidates then have a brief period to review these results and must submit any objections regarding their allotment via email by 11:00 AM on December 24, 2025.

Following the resolution of any objections, the university will display the final or revised provisional allotment result by December 25, 2025. The concluding phase of the second round involves the financial and physical admission process. Successfully allotted candidates are required to pay the balance of their six-month tuition fees through the university’s online portal and report to their assigned medical colleges for joining between December 26 and December 30, 2025.

Punjab NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Counselling Schedule: How to Apply?

Candidates can follow these steps to ensure their preferences are recorded:

1. Visit the Portal: Go to the official BFUHS admission website, bfuhs.ac.in.
2. Log In: Use the unique credentials (registration ID and password) received during the initial registration phase.
3. Review Vacancies: Check the updated vacancy position on the portal, as seats surrendered from Round 1 will now be available.
4. Fill Choices: Enter or update the preferred colleges and specialities in order of priority.
5. Submit and Lock: Save the choices. While the portal may auto-lock, candidates are advised to manually review and lock their preferences before the deadline on December 18.
6. Payment & Reporting: If allotted a seat, the candidate must pay the balance fee (six months' tuition minus the security deposit) via the university’s online gateway and report to the college between December 26 and December 30.
