The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana, has released important updates for UG AYUSH admissions under the Competent Authority Quota (CQ) and Management Quota for the academic year 2024-25. These include notifications for the Stray Vacancy Phase and Free Exit for BHMS candidates.Eligible candidates can exercise web options between 3:00 PM on December 8, 2024, and 3:00 PM on December 9, 2024, through the official portal.

Stray Vacancy Round for Competent Authority Quota

KNRUHS has notified the commencement of the Stray Vacancy Phase for UG AYUSH admissions (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and BNYS courses) under the Competent Authority Quota.

Eligibility: Candidates included in the consolidated provisional final merit list for UG AYUSH courses as of November 26, 2024, can participate.
- Candidates admitted to MBBS, BDS, or AYUSH courses under AIQ or MCC counseling, as well as those who discontinued earlier, are not eligible.
Web Options Timeline:
- Eligible candidates can exercise web options between 3:00 PM on December 8, 2024, and 3:00 PM on December 9, 2024, through the official portal

Fee Details:

University Fee: ₹8,000 to be paid online. Previously paid fees need not be repeated.
Tuition Fee: To be paid at the respective colleges as per government norms.

Important Guidelines:

Candidates must carefully prioritize their web options, as allotments will result in automatic cancellation of earlier seats.
Non-compliance with joining formalities after allotment will attract a penalty of ₹1,00,000 and a three-year ban on KNRUHS admissions.
Original certificates must be submitted during the admission process, and the university fee is non-refundable.

Free Exit Notification for BHMS under Management Quota

Candidates admitted to BHMS courses in private Homeo colleges under the Management Quota until the Additional Mop-Up Phase have an option for a free exit.

Key Details:
- Deadline: Candidates must apply for discontinuation by 4:00 PM on December 10, 2024.
- Conditions: No penalties for those who exit before the deadline. However, they will be ineligible for further rounds of Management Quota counseling for BHMS.
- Post Deadline: Discontinuation after the deadline will invoke penalties as per government regulations.
Instructions for Colleges:
- College principals must return the candidates’ original certificates and refund fees immediately upon application.
- Updated data must be uploaded to the admission portal by 4:30 PM on December 10, 2024.
