UP Board yet to release the dates for compartment and improvement exams though it has been over 20 days since the UP Boards results are out. This has created an anxious environment for the students.
Due to this delay, those who were looking ahead to appear for the UP Board compartment exams are in a tensed situation and are approaching their respective schools regarding their issues and queries.
Exclaiming his thought on this matter, Suman Singh an intermediate student who failed in her social studies paper said, “Most of the universities has started their admission process in the recent days and are expecting to complete it by September, and in this situation the delay by the UP Board in announcing the dates for compartment is worrying me”
Digging on this matter, Principal of Kidwai Memorial Girls' Inter College, Himmatganj, Anjum Afzan said, “It is really very worrying to deal with this kind of situation, not only for the students but also for the parents who are expressing their queries regarding this. In most of the cases, the students who have failed in one exam are enquiring about the dates.”
UP Board 2020 results were announced on June 27, in which around 35,017 students failed in one subject and improvement exams can be the saviour option for them.
Clarifying on the matter, UP Board officials have said that the COVID-19 crisis had initiated the delay in announcement of the compartment exams.
They have also exclaimed that the increasing number of cases on a regular basis is creating problems for them to decide on this matter and in this prevailing situation they also need permission from the state government to reach the final decision.
