UP Board Gives Another Chance to the Candidates who Missed Practical Exam; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has announced that it will give a second chance to the UP Board Class 12 and Class 10 students who could not appear for their practical exams.

According to Divyakant Shukla, Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education, the intermediate practical exams of the year 2024, which were scheduled between January 25 and February 9, and missed by some students, will be conducted again on February 16, 2024.

Notably, the board examinations will be organised in the state from February 22 to March 9, 2024. Prior to the exams, the government wants to ensure that every student can participate in the main exams with peace of mind, having completed their practical exams, an official said.

According to the notice released, students appearing for the re-exam should carry their admit cards for the exam with them.

The board has made arrangements similar to that of the main exams. The test will be administered by examiners appointed by the regional offices of the Council of Secondary Education under the surveillance of CCTV Cameras.

For the theory exams t be conducted, the UP Board has implemented strict measures against cheating and malpractices during the exams. It has intrduced computerised logos and QR Codes.

This year a total 55,08,206 students have registered for the Class 10, 12 exams. Out of this 29,47,324 candidates are from Class 12 while 25,60,882 students are from Class 10.
