UP NEET UG 2024: Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling Schedule Released

The Director General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, has released important instructions and a schedule for the Special Stray Vacancy Round of UP NEET UG 2024 Counselling. This round is for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in government/private medical/dental colleges of Uttar Pradesh. The registration window will be open till November 25, 2024 11 AM.

Counseling Schedule for Special Stray Vacancy Round

Eligibility Criteria:

• Not Eligible:
  • Candidates already allotted a seat in any round (including stray vacancy round) of UP NEET UG 2024.
  • Candidates admitted through All India NEET UG 2024 Counselling.
  • Candidates who were allotted a seat but did not report or resigned after allotment in earlier rounds.
• Eligible:
  • Candidates who have not been allotted any seat in any round of UP NEET UG 2024.
  • Candidates registered earlier but could not deposit the registration/security fee can now participate by paying the fee within the specified timeline.
  • Candidates admitted to BDS courses in earlier rounds can participate for MBBS courses if they meet the rules and pay the required fee.

Registration Fees and Security Money:

• The registration fee is ₹1,000 (non-refundable).
• Security deposit (based on the course and institution):
  • Government medical/dental seats: ₹30,000.
  • Private medical seats: ₹2,00,000.
  • Private dental seats: ₹1,00,000.
  • For participation in both government and private medical/dental seats, deposit: ₹2,00,000.

Verification Process:

• Candidates must upload documents during registration, including:
  • High school and intermediate marksheets.
  • Reservation certificates (if applicable).
  • Domicile certificate (for candidates claiming UP domicile).
• Reservation certificates must be issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the prescribed format.

Important Instructions:

• Only use your own bank account for fee payment, as refunds (if applicable) will be credited to the same account.
• Candidates from other states (non-UP domicile) will be considered under the unreserved category, without reservation benefits.
• Candidates who do not take admission after allotment in this round will forfeit their security deposit and be debarred from UP NEET UG Counselling 2025–28.

This is the final opportunity for eligible candidates to secure a seat in medical and dental programs for the academic year 2024-25.
