New Delhi: The Technology Business Incubator, TBI of VIT University is all set to host a two-day hands-on training program on “Primer Designing & qPCR for Molecular Expression Profiling & Data Analysis”. The program will be held on April 18, and 19, 2024 from 10 AM to 5 PM. Interested candidates can register online till April 15, 2024 by 3 PM.

About Primer Designing & qPCR

The Primers, short sequences of oligonucleotides, play a crucial role in DNA amplification, impacting both in-vivo and in-vitro processes. Effective primer design and rigorous quality assurance are vital for accurate data analysis.

Real-time PCR stands out as a highly sensitive technique with diverse applications such as gene expression analysis, cancer phenotyping, mutant gene detection, and quantitative gene copy measurement.

This course covers fundamental concepts and practical sessions, including software operation using the Bio-Rad CFX96 Real-Time PCR system for data analysis. Meanwhile, Participants will receive certificates upon successful completion of the program.
