How to Calculate XAT 2026 Score Using the Response Sheet?

Since the XAT exam is conducted in a single shift, there is no score normalisation. The raw score obtained by candidates is later converted into a percentile for preparing the XAT result. Candidates can calculate their raw XAT 2026 score using the response sheet by following the marking scheme given below:

  • Add 1 mark for every correct answer.
  • Add 0 marks for each unanswered question.
  • Deduct 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
  • If a candidate skips 8 questions consecutively, an additional 0.10 mark is deducted.
  • There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in the General Knowledge (GK) section.
