Thanks for asking! I would highly recommend PMCH. If you're not too worried about the current infrastructure, it's an excellent choice. The professors there are top-notch compared to other colleges in the region. Plus, PMCH is undergoing renovations, with new hostels and buildings coming up, so infrastructure issues will soon be resolved. Here's a snapshot from my hostel to show some of the ongoing work.

Another reason to pick PMCH is the lower tuition and hostel fees. PMCH is a well-known name, not just in Bihar but across India. I hope this gives you a clear picture to help with your decision. Best of luck!

You might want to consider IGIMS over PMCH for a few reasons. IGIMS is autonomous, similar to institutions like AIIMS and IITs, which boosts its academic reputation. While the fees at IGIMS are higher compared to PMCH, the internship stipends are also more generous, which can help balance out the cost difference.

The hospital at IGIMS is top-notch, with all the superspecialty departments you might need. Courses in MBBS are taught by highly experienced doctors, and they hold regular tests to ensure you're well-prepared for major exams. The faculty and doctors at IGIMS receive higher salaries than those at other medical colleges in Bihar, attracting some of the best professionals in the field.

I would definitely recommend IGIMS over PMCH. The faculty-to-student ratio is really good, about 1:2, which means we get more attention from teachers. The curriculum is practical-focused, and we have regular exposure to patients, which is great for building skills.

Although the fees are a bit high at around 1,21,000 for the first year, the overall education quality and the internship stipend of 30,000 per month make it worth it. Plus, the campus life is pretty vibrant with events like Cerebexia, making it a fun place to study.

If you're picking between PMCH and IGIMS in Bihar, IGIMS is generally the better choice. It's an autonomous institute, which gives it an edge. The hospital is well-equipped, and the faculty, infrastructure, and facilities are top-notch. The exposure you get here is significant too. We recently held an international conference for undergraduate students, and it went really well. The hospital is growing, and the facilities are improving. PMCH is often chosen because it's been around longer, but studying at an autonomous institute like IGIMS has its own perks.

If I had to choose, I would pick IGIMS. The college provides a solid MBBS program with a focus on practical learning, which is vital for us future doctors. The stipend during the internship is decent at about 30,000, and we get to work in a real hospital environment, which is invaluable.

The campus life is lively, with lots of cultural events throughout the year. However, the fees are on the higher side, around 1,21,000 for the first year, but I think the quality of education and facilities justify it. Also, the support from faculty is really helpful, especially during exams.
