I'm currently pursuing B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing at AIIMS Delhi, and it's been quite a journey. The curriculum is pretty comprehensive, although I sometimes feel that diving deep into subjects like anatomy and physiology isn't always practical for us as nursing officers. The good part is we start our ward training from the second month of the first year, which really helps us gain hands-on experience early on.
Looking ahead to 2026, I believe our placements will be solid, especially since we’ll be eligible for the NORCET exam, which can lead to a government job with a decent salary. Plus, the internship at AIIMS itself pays around Rs 13,000 for six months, which is a nice bonus.
B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing at AIIMS Delhi is a great choice if you're looking to get into the nursing field. The classes are engaging, and the faculty is really supportive. They manage to solve our doubts despite the large class sizes. The internship at the end of the course is a six-month stint in the hospital, and you get paid Rs 13,000, which is pretty helpful. As for placements in 2026, after passing the NORCET, we can land good positions as nursing officers in central government jobs. The opportunities are looking bright!
Studying B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing at AIIMS Delhi has been an enriching experience. The campus life is vibrant, with various societies and a big fest called PULSE, which is super fun. The practical exposure is excellent since we start working in wards early in our first year. The course is structured well, and I appreciate how we get to put our learning into practice. Looking towards 2026, I’m optimistic about placements. Passing the NORCET will open up numerous job opportunities for us, and with the stipend during our internship, financial support is also decent. Overall, I feel ready for the future!
