At AIIMS Delhi, the focus is more on clinical exposure and practical knowledge rather than just the placement packages. While I can't provide a specific average package, the internship stipend is quite impressive at ?30,000 per month, and that gives a good idea of the earning potential in the medical field. The experience and training you get here are invaluable, and many graduates go on to specialize, which can significantly increase their income.
There are no traditional placements in the MBBS field. If you aim for Post Graduation, everyone must take the PG entrance exam, whether they graduated from AIIMS Delhi or any other state or private college.
If you want to be a Non-PG Junior Resident in colleges, you also need to clear an exam or interview. While having an MBBS from AIIMS Delhi or other peripheral AIIMS can create a positive impression in interview-based recruitment, it cannot be the sole reason for selection. Hard work always prevails!
If you plan to work in a corporate hospital or start your own practice, the AIIMS Delhi tag will certainly enhance your reputation compared to your non-AIIMS counterparts.
Thanks for reading!
The average package for MBBS graduates from AIIMS Delhi is not exactly straightforward since many doctors choose to pursue further studies or internships after completing the degree. However, during my internship in 2025, I received a stipend of around ?30,000, which is one of the highest in the country. Plus, the curriculum here really prepares you well for the field, so many of my seniors have been placed in reputable hospitals and clinics.
