How are the hostels at DTU for freshers??

Honestly, the hostels at DTU are a mixed bag. I’m currently staying here, and while the rooms are basic, they are manageable. The cleanliness is okay, but it could definitely be better. Freshers like us usually bond over the shared experiences of hostel life, which is one of the best parts. The mess food can be hit or miss, but you get used to it. Overall, it's a good way to dive into college life.

The hostels at DTU are decent for freshers. I moved in this year, and while the facilities aren't luxurious, they are quite functional. Each room accommodates two students, which makes it easier to make friends. The mess food is average, but you can always find some good options nearby. Plus, being in the heart of Delhi makes it easy to explore the city. It’s a great place to start your college life in the economics program.

As a fresher in DTU, I can say the hostels have their pros and cons. The rooms are alright, and sharing with a roommate helps you settle in faster. The common areas are nice for chilling or studying together. Food is average, but there are plenty of options around campus too. I think living in the hostel is a great way to connect with others in our economics course and make lasting memories during these first years.

Hostels at DTU are definitely better than those at NITs.

• If you’re lucky enough to get into the seniors' hostel (HJB Hostel), it’s a bonus.
• However, the same repetitive menu will soon have you planning your dinner outings.
• If you manage to have girlfriends, you might skip hostel lunch! :P
• Wednesdays are the best! Your day scholar friends will join you for the chow mein buffet—definitely the highlight of lunch.
