First, keep one thing in mind: if you want a good job (and by good job, I mean one that pays well), you must focus on the IT sector. I’m not saying you can’t get a decent job in other industries, but the chances are lower. Manufacturing and other core sectors are still in their early stages in India.

Now, addressing your question: being a BITSian, I recommend joining BITS if you can get into Computer Science or Information Systems. Even if your BITSAT score isn’t enough for a single degree in CS/IS, opt for a dual degree. You might wonder why study for one more year, but trust me, if you manage to get CS as your dual degree, your placements will be on par with those of single degree CS/IS students.

Now, if your goal isn’t to secure a high-paying job (believe me, many prioritize other factors), and you’re not interested in joining an IT firm or absolutely dislike coding, then…
