I would recommend considering ECE at IIT Guwahati. While IIT Delhi is generally regarded as better than IIT Guwahati, IIT Guwahati is still an excellent institution. It's important to focus more on the branch rather than just the institute.

• Unless you have a strong interest in Mechanical Engineering, ECE is a more advantageous branch. It offers more job and research opportunities compared to Mechanical Engineering in today's world.
