Remarks

The college should improve it's Placement activity and also arrange company (current market technology) related training which will beneficial to student

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The exam structure is good. From my point of view, course syllabus and content of the course is the best after the premier institution(such as IITs,NITs). But it depend upon faculty how they are implementing it. The exams are in three phase first in semester Exam(ISE=20%), second Mid semester Exam(MSE=30%), third End semester Exam(ESE=50%)

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are good especially for computer engineering students but of other branches placements are fine. Our success depends only on ourself, this is what I have been seeing & this is what I feel. If you personally work hard, if your CV is way better than a primer guy, you will surely land up in good places. I know a lot of students have a craze of getting an internship in their first and second year itself, but trust me doing an internship is not very much necessary until you get to learn something that will impress the interviewer rather than be doing something vague which has no relevance to your career. So if you get some good internship where you think you will learn and the internships are relevant to your career then its fine to grab the opportunity else stay focused on doing some quality projects where your Skills and Resume both get enriched.

College Events

3.5

Generally events are organized by every department viz. which includes Quiz Competitions,Workshops,Dance Competitions,Sports and Games, Drama and Plays, Literature Competitions - Writing, Poetry, Word Games, etc, Design Competitions Photography Contests, Music Competitions and more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure changes every year and quite expensive, but the fee structure for 2014–15, Tuition fee is Rs. 91,291; development fees, exam fees and other etc. Total - Rs. 1,02,000. The services provided by college is good. The fees for categories are discounted by government.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are in Maharashtra then you can apply for TFWS (Tuition Fee waiver Scheme ) EBC (Economically Backward Class) In case you are from different university then visit college/university website for such kind of scholarships programs . I am quite sure there are such programs going on all over India it’s just that you need to find them.

Campus Life

5

Best Engineering college, Great atmosphere. Decent location and great college life. In this college, all labs are arranged in the best way. There are a Robotic lab (eYantra) and many other labs like Satellite club. Curriculum is very packed. It is so packed that in given semester time it doesn't completes.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is on large scale senior students are helpful and always guide/help their juniors at every step.

Admission

I got the admission through the CAP round. I gave the Jee mains paper. In all colleges 50% marks considered by JEE and 50% marks considered by HSC examination. I have scored 85 percentage in 12 th (Board + JEE). Admission Process - admission process is through CAP rounds. Check the official site, http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is very good experienced and highly qualified staff is there. All the faculties are doctorates and m.tech degree holder. They help the student in all and every aspect. Also they arrange QEEE lecture which will be held by premier institution (IITs).

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
