Improvements in the study plan and effective administration will attract students and as well as companies to come here and be part of this institution.All around work is required to do, a coherence between teachers and students should come to existence and hence needs must be understand of the different areas.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course is a bit conventional and the regular update in required in the syllabus.The programming languages are older that are of low significance in today's tech area.Latest technologies have to be studied by the student effort only.Students explore more about things outside the class rather than inside the class.However a update in syllabus has been made in the past year acquiring the required changes.
Placement Experience
Various campus placements takes place but being a low tier college, no effective company comes for the placement as to offer qualtity packages. Only the service based companies come for placement and hence students are likely to be placed in these types of the companies only. For eg- Daffodil, Nagaro, Continum, Wipro etc
College Events
My college is part of the MDU, hence became a great hub to the National Youth Festival. Also we regularly organize sports events and curricular activities and maximum participation is witnessed over all areas
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible and it varies according to the reservation. Though it's not expensive but also a large wavier is cut off for the eligible students for quota.It also provides scholarship to the needful students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students from backward areas avail scholarship for their education.Like students from the SC, ST and the ones belonging to the Jammu and Kasmir region gets the benefit of the scholarships. Some students also receive cuts in the mess fees.
Campus Life
There is a big sports ground in the campus and also there are multiple stadiums built for the different sports. Regular national and state level competitions are being conducted here. Also students from the college are promoted to participate in such competitions.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure varies from hostel to hostel. The room size are different and also the bathrooms conditions vary along it. But electricity facility is quite good and there are minimum cuts that we witness. Infrastructure i would say to be average and hostel mess's food needs to improve a lot
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni stuff is not so regularized in the college and hence that there are rare cases when the alumni in conducted in the college and this varies differently in the technical branches of BTECH. The alumni meets should be promoted by the administration and work is required to be done in this field.
Admission
I gave the JEE Mains exam. I applied for admission on the online website of HTET which comprises of all the regional state colleges of Haryana State.Based on my rank in JEE Mains i was allotted a seat in the UIET Rohtak affiliated to the MDU university.
Faculty
The faculty is of mixed types. Certain teachers are really good in what they teach and takes teaching seriously and as part of their job.Some teachers just take 3-4 lectures half a bit and do their quota of teaching. For some of them attendance is the key to sustain students in their class. What i feel is that teaching here, has turned to boring stuff that feel that you attend the class but you only get to know about things only when you study for yourself.
