Remarks
The academic of the college is great. It is one of the best colleges in pune. The Staff is great. Non teaching staff is also supportive. Only one minus point of the college is that it has very small sports ground. Overall college is great. Feel free to admit yourself into the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took admission into BE mechanical, the experience was great. The faculty goes out of the box to help you in any situation. It is one of the best colleges in pune. They conduct internal exams before every University exams.
Placement Experience
TPO incharge is Mrs. Swati More. She has done an excellent job for the sake of students. She maintains good relations with all the companies so the carry campus drive in the college. If any Student us interested in internships they are encouraged to apply for the same.
College Events
Various technical and Non-technical events have been carried out in the college like: 1. M-pulse 2. Spandhan 3. Baja 4. Go cart 5. Robotics 6. Karmanya 7. Firodiya And many more interesting events. There are different faculty assigned to different events, who looks after the success of the event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is standard set by DTE. Different scholarships are provided to the needful students. Different government schemes are applicable like EBC for economical backward class students. Scheme like TFWS is also provided to the deserved students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Me being from middle class family was from economical backward class. I was able to apply for the government scheme EBC and avail the benefit. The student whose family income in below 6 Lpa can apply for the scheme. Half the tuition fees is returned by the government into the student bank account. As the application of this scheme is online it makes easier to apply.
Campus Life
There are separate practical labs for different subjects. All these labs are well equipped with all the required practical setup. Different extracurricular activities are conducted in the college like: MESA, NSS, PRERNA CLUB, FLYING CLUB,etc. Not much big but there is a all in one sports ground in the campus. Different sports teams like football, hockey, basketball, volleyball, cricket, ect represent college at University level.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumini network of the college is quite big. The ex students of the college work at higher position in the enterprise and some own the company. The alumini of the college brings job opportunities to the students. The seniors always take care of their juniors, the help them through every problem, not one case is seen of ragging.
Admission
I got admission through CAP round 2 organised by DTE Maharashtra. DTE assigns the college to the student according to their marks in JEE and 12th boards. There are mainly 3 CAP rounds carried out. The merit may decrease or may increase from round 1 to round 3. Students should carefully fill the preference listing the colleges.
Faculty
The faculty is co-operative and highly talented. The lectures and practicals are timely conducted. All the teachers has a master's degree. Also the non teaching staff is very supportive. New ideas are encouraged.
