College Review

This college is affiliated by smt. Savitribai phule pune university. So it follows the exam patterns according to the university. The college has 5 departments namely mechanical engineering, electronics and telecomunication engineering, electrical engineering, it, computer engineering. The exam pattern consists of 2 exams in one semester. One is insem and the other is end semester exams. The insem exam is of 30 marks and the end semester exam is of 70 marks.

The placement cell is active from last year and decent no of students are placed. This confides only for computer engineers, IT Engineering and electronics engineers. The college does not care about mechanical engineering and electrical engineering students. For them only a few marketing jobs are available that too for a very low package and the work environment is very challenging. You have to do salesman types of jobs there and none of your engineering studies will be applicable there.

During navaratri we have a dandiya night arranged in the football ground. Technical fest is just a mere holiday for 3 days and only you have unnecessary drama in the name of seminars. Different clubs in the college conducts events all time of the year.

It was 1lakh 4 thousand for BE general students. It is feasible as most of the colleges in Pune charge around the same range.

Sports are very good. We have a cricket ground two basketball courts two tennis courts two football courts and many indoor games like table tennis chess and carrom boards are also there.

Hostels are good for the amount they charge only the mess food is inedible. You have big playgrounds and swimming pools. Basketball courts badminton courts are open for all. Seniors are supportive and they provide you with a the necessary information. Alumnis are not very associated to the college.

I went through a CAP round which is an entrance procedure for college allotment. I had the necessary marks in boards as well as in Jee-Mains. This made me eligible to get a seat in this college. First of all I was asked to fill the general CAP form issued by the technical education team by Maharashtra government. Then I had to choose college and the department I was interested in. I had to get my documents verified like my 10th marksheet my 12th marksheet and my Jee-Mains score card as well. Then I waited for my turn and finally after some more background verification I got this college.
