Remarks
The college overall is good. But every place has certain merits and demerits. So the negative remark which I feel is the college doesn’t have a proper playground or hostel facility. These are the two main things that the college lack.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course which I have taken is Mechanical Engineering. Since i have interest in mechanics I have choose this field of study. The college has good teaching staffs. All the staffs are experienced and has good knowledge on the subjects taught by them.Fully satisfied with the teaching staffs.
Placement Experience
The college provides placements and job opportunities. Yes they do help you with the internship during your vacation. Many of my seniors who are doing their 4th year currently are already placed in certain well know companies.
College Events
My college celebrates many events. One of the best even celebrated in my college is onam celebration.We had our 1 st onam celebration last month and we had certain programs like pulikali, Athapoomalsaram,Vadamvali etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is reasonable. if you are getting in through NRI quota then ur yearly fees will be 1 lakhs therefore you will have to pay a total of 4 lakhs.If you are getting through merit then u don’t have to pay any fees. The fees structure depends.
Fees and Financial Aid
It is a government college. it is a cooperative college so there are a wide variety of scholarships especially for poor students in SC st category.i haven’t availed any scholarship till now. I am a first year student.
Campus Life
Labs are good but for sports they don’t even have a good play ground.We have different labs for each subjects. But since there is a construction of building going on inside our campus we do not have a proper playground.
Hostel Facilities
I haven’t opted for hostel. I am a day scholar. My house is 25 mins drive from college. And the college doesn’t provide any hostel facility. But there are good private hostels nearby with reasonable fees.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors of my college are awesome. They are very actively participating in every programs and putting great effort in making it successful.Hatsoff for their sportsman spirit. Good going guys. Thank you.
Admission
I got admission on basis of nri quota. since I haven’t written the entrance exam I had to take nri quota. If you have written entrance then you can opt for merit basis and if you fall under SC st category you will be eligible for fee deduction.
Faculty
As I have said before The college has good teaching staffs. All the staffs are experienced and has good knowledge on the subjects taught by them.Fully satisfied with the teaching staffs.The teachers are very cooperative and if you have missed any lectures or if you are not able to catch-up they will help you with that issue.
