HOW WAS MY COLLEGE

College has a huge campus in saltlake city. College has guest rooms for guardians. One can use any department for their work without any restriction. Transportation is good from all major places in the city.

The course is two years based which means four semesters. Exams are usually held in the month of the Nov-Dec odd semester and May-June even semester. The first and second semester consists of technical and management-related subjects and practical. But in the final year one needs to research work on his interest area og work.

As the condition of the market is very grim, so fewer jobs are available now. The college has training and placement cell for students. Also, students can attend job interviews from university (makeup) sides. I didn't attend any internships.

We celebrated many events like International yoga day, Independents day, Saraswati puja, Republic day, three days based skill development compitetion where students from diploma colleges take part with their invitation work done on various fields.

Fee structure was for 1&3 sem 26500 and 2& 4 SEM 28500. only examination fee need to submit at the time of examination which was 1200 appox. Semester fees is feasible compared to another institution.

College does not offer any scholarship or stipend. Students who qualified GATE exam, get monthly stipend 12400 from MHRD. Students from backward classes can get many scholarships offered by state or central government.

All labs are equipped with advanced machineries, tools with central air conditioning system. Advanced computer are there for students with latests facility. In sports there are football, volleyball, sprint, carrom board etc.

Yes, they are helpful. Our college have alumni network. To connect them college has WhatsApp group for alumni and also Google forum for alumni. One can contact seniors any time taken their details from college.

To take admission in NITTTR, KOLKATA one needs to qualify for the PGET exam organized by MAKAUT, WB. After that interview will be organized. Depending upon the merit list you will get college. If there are any vacant seats after counseling, the institute will organize interviews for the vacant seat, which will be available on the institute website.

As the institute main focus is to train technical teachers, so teachers have a vast knowledge on the technical as well as practical field. They are also very helpful and cooperative to students. One can utilise the lab facility 24X7.
