College Campus Review

Highly positive. It has free wifi facility in the whole campus area. We have a huge library and digital library also in our campus and 2 football ground 1 basketball ground and huge campus area for cycling.

I am a Computer Science and Engineering student of B Tech course of this college. The course structure is really good and interesting. In every semester we have really good courses like Datastructure and Algorithm, DBMS, Operating System, Computer Networking, Compiler Design, Java, C++ and many other interesting topics. The whole course is divided in 4 years. In every year there are 2 semesters. Duration of each semester is 6 months. After each 6 months a final exam happens. And between the semester 4 internal exams happens. The marks of internal exams also added in final marks. Beside this the practical exams also happens just before the semester final exam of every semester.

Placement and job opportunities are really good. Most of the students get placed in the campusing. The average package is 4lpa. No college does not provide internship but they encourage and help students to do internships in IITs and Internshala is student partner of our college. College sends students for training to reknowned industried like TISCO, IOC, EXIDE, HALDIA DOCKYARD.

We celebrate many events in our college. We have annual tech fest and cultural meets which is celebrated throughout a week. Beside this different cultural society of college performs there own cultural program at different time of every year. Our college is organizing ICITAM for last 3 years.

The fees structure is really comfortable. Round about 40k rupees for every semester. College also provides scolarships for poor and brilliant students. Educational loan is also acceptable for this college.

Our college has its own football and cricket team and our college is 2 times winner of the intercollege football championship of Westbengal. Beside this in our college basketball training also be given. We have gym and our gym trainer is one time Mr. India winner. We have update labs for every depertment and our college takes part in Manaav racing also.

Our college has really good hostel and the infrasturcture of hostel is very nice. The rent of the hostel is taken at the begining of every semester and after that students only have to pay hostel meal charge of every month. Students get 2 times meal, breakfast and tiffin every day. In our college the boys and girls hostels are separated and the students of every year are also kept in seperated hostels.

I have given WBJEE in 2016 and after campusing procedure i got this beautiful college. This college comes under top 10 colleges of West Bengal and it has the 2nd largest campus just after IIT KGP. So after I got this college I came to here for admission. It was my first time that i was visiting Haldia- the one of the greatest industrial city of India. Then the admission procedure( admission fees submission,hostel fees submission) went smoothly and at afternoon of that day I got admitted here.

Faculties are really good and helpful. They teaches us subjects regularly in a great manner so that the topics looks like inetresting more and more. They try there best to make us understand each topic in easy way. They give lots of real time examples related to the topic so taht we find ineterest to learn it later also.
