Bad Politics is a negative remark of my college. Campus politics create a fence between students. All programs conducted in college politilise.

Course Curriculum Overview

Very tough syllbus. Four year course eight semesters. For every semester two series test and one university exam. Series test are conducted by our faculties and internal marks are given as per series test mark.

Placement Experience

Placements are good in my college. Cs., ece, mech departments have good placements. Other departments also have placement. Most of the students of ece, cs, and mech department got placement in compus recutment.

College Events

Thrissure motor show Bhoomika college union inaugration Dyuthi cultural fest. Grafthi literally club conduct somany art related program.

Admission

In kerala for engineering(btech) admission government conduct entrance examination(kerala engineering and agricultural (keam)). I wrote the keam and got rank of 1859 in examination. According to my rank I got admission in government engineering college thrissur. I enrolled in college.

Good faculties. Highly graduated faculties.all faculties are good.all department has good faculties

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
