College Review

The college campus is quite big and good.Also the college has basketball court, badminton court, cricket ground, gym and hostels inside the campus for girls and boys.The classroom conditions are ok and the labs can be impeoved.

Course Curriculum is good. It includes all the common subjects of every branch in first year and then from second year the core subjects are included in the courses. The students also have to complete some courses of other branches other than their own to complete the required credits.

Placements and job opportunities are ok in the college. The college does not provide internship. Therefore the students are not exposed to the aptitude tests and interview experience in third year.As internship is not provided the students need to find internships externally off campus and thus experience large competition.

Our national level festival called Wings is celebrated for 2-3 days which includes many technical and cultural events to increase the participation of the students.Apart from this the annual gathering of the college is celebrated for 3 days before which inter-department sports competition are held.

The fee structure is different for students of open category and for students of reserved category. The fee structure for open category is much more than for the reserved category.Also the students have to pay the examination fee during each semester for appearing in the end semester exams.

I availed the scholarship of jain minority provided by ministry of minority affairs which is approved by college since my religion is Jain.Other scholarship is provided based on the academic performance and economic status of the student.

Extracurricular activities include organization of different clubs which includes technical clubs, social clubs which organizes events like blood donation, tree plantation.Inter department sports competition are arranged during the annual gathering.Labs are ok.

The senior students are very helpful and guides us to learn the important technologies.They also help us to get acquainted with the national level competitions, participate in hackathons and also organize various workshops in the college.

I got admission through entrance exam called CET(Common Entrance Test). There are cutoffs for different branches. I scored 164 out of 200 and got admission in Computer Science branch.The cutoffs are different for general category and for other reserved categories.

Faculty of the college is good.There are senior staff for some subjects and visiting staff as well for few subjects. The senior staff is quite experienced and tries to teach the students through techniques like projectors to increase the understanding of students.
