Hit haldia review

Postitive points are the college atmosphere is pleasant and u can find peace here and can put urself in ur interest. Campus is big and teachers are also good. Negative point is the placement qhich is the biggest issue.

HIT haldia is one of the prestigious private and old engineering colleges of west bengal. It provides various types of course harsly any other college is able to provide. I am from electrical engineering and i find my branch good because of its good quality teachers and their helping natue.

In terms of placement and job opportunities it is lagging behind especially for my branch very less core companies visited my college even though some good companies come but they select only 1 or 2 students. Most of visiting companies are IT companies like infosys,wipro and some marketing companies byjus.

HIT has its own cultural programs and prayukti is the main technical fest celebrated here many other cultural programs are also taking place over the year like rangmilanti etc. These programs are organized by the students. And students are too energetic to doing that.

Fee structure of HIT haldia is nearly 5lakhs for a btech student. Each sem individual has to pay nearly about 60k rs which includes the tution fee as well as the hostel fee( for fooding u have to pay separately)

Loan facilities are available. as many of my friends persuaded there btech through loan process. i dont know much about that ut i m surr that loan facilities are available there.

Besides academic HIT provides gym for the students to take care of their health. There is a gym instructor is also available to guide them. In terms of sports each year college students organize an interdependental cricket and football matches beside cricket and football there is also a basketball ball ground. these are outdoor sports besides that hostels are provided with some indoor gaming facilities like table tennis,carrom etc.

College seniors are kind of dangerous at the beginning but as time goes u r getting involved with them u know them in a better way. They are very helpful in any kind of problem. In terms of sports they are very helpful.

First i had appeared for wbjee exam and secured nearly abou 10000 rank. Then through counseling i get that college(in counseling process u have to put ur choosen colleges and according to ur rank u will get ur college)

Not all the faculties are good but some of them are too good and the best thing is that they always ready to solve doubts of the students.Most of the faculties are young and less experienced in teaching but they put so much effort to make student understand any kind to subject.
