Remarks
I commented all positive in the above questions. Negatives are also there such as the full space of our college is not utilised and still there are so many development needed in some sections.And there is also the presence of local dogs which is irritating the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
All Kerala engineering colleges are following APJ ABDUL Kalam Technological University.Its a new University which is developed in 2015 and our batch is the 2nd one. In this 2 internal exams in each semester and a final exam for the current semester. It has also a yearback problem those who don't clear the papers.
Placement Experience
Yes.Our college provides workshop , internship etc. for interested students and for final years they are conducting placement drives from different companies.Most of them are now getting placed in the companies like TCS, QBURST etc.
College Events
Invento annual techfest is one of the main event that all GECian is celebrated in our college. Its our own annual techfest conducted by students. Its a gathering of different college students in that 3 days. So many events such as Rodies, Technical Events, Moto Expo.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its feasible because of government college.Every student should pay only under 10000 in every year including the exam fees.There is so many consideration for some students those who are in backward casts.
Fees and Financial Aid
They are providing egrands and so many other scholarship for backwards casts.There is also scholarship for those who are flourishing in the academics.Some tme the backward cast students dont want to pay the fees thats is it will be cancelled by the scholarships.
Campus Life
Our college have good labs,grounds and so many other activities. Provides better lab and facilities.A good sports club which includes cricket,footy, badminton, fencing, volleyball and all other sports.And have also clubs for other activities like drawing, designing, dance, music.
Hostel Facilities
I can say that its also feasible. Because the locality is not too much expensive. If i opted hostel i should pay nearly 2500-3000 per month if im not staying in the government men's hostel.If im staying in the men's hostel the fees will be lower than i mentioned
Alumni/Alumna
ofcourse those comments were so helpful to the newcomers.We study the college in the first time from thier comments also.We have good alumni team and some of the alumni members are our faculties too.So its giving much more good experience for the students.
Admission
I wrote entrance examination after my plus two. Then i got the rank 15107. I appeared in the spot admission and was selected to Government Engineering College Sreekrishnapuram for the course Information Technology.
Faculty
Nice faculty. In pur department there are more temporary staffs than the permanent staffs.Now our college is going for accreditation and because of that all departments are doing well in the faculty section.
