My college review

The college of providing as much as possible for the betterment of the students. The facilities given by the college and faculties teaching us. The non teaching staffs everyone is helpful. The only negetive thing being is the unity among the students. The hostellers and the day scholars are never on the same page.

The course I'm pursuing is BTech in Power Engineering where the main orientation is on the Thermal Power Plant operation.this is one the most esteemed college in this field.The exam structure is pretty good.The exams are held by a central University.

Placement and jobs opportunity is wide options. Most of the core industries come for placement in the college and select the best ones.The college as such provides non stipend training in different thermal power plants on a requirement basis.

An annual fest with all kinds of games like computer games, Quiz, Drama competition, Treasure Hunt etc. And other competition are held all year round. Essay writings, Debates happens. Other holidays like children's day Independence day etc.

The fees is quite similar to other engineering institutions. They are feasible for the middle class families too. While those who have income below a certain amount can receive scholarship directly from the government on applying.

Good scholarship are provided by our College of one proved his or her worth. Remit of college semester fees is one of the example of the extra ordinary facilities given out by the college. Any one can apply for a scholarship test of she's thinks he or she is worth it.

Practical labs are full of equipments mostly of the previous years but fully working condition. The campus consists of basketball, Football, Cricket and batminton grounds. Annual sports competition is also held every year.

I'm a day scholar so i dont know much about hostel but from the words of friends the facilities are normal with clean environment and peaceful ones. They say that their hostel rooms are better than their bedrooms at home.

The alumni network as well as senior students are really helpful. Especially during the final years for getting interview correct, passing group discussion, common questions etc. They are quite helpful for the company procedures too.

I went in the college through the west bengal joint entrance examination. You can get in through JEE also. And moreover the college was near my home so I chose to study in this college. You need to prepare from class 12 very hard.

Teaching faculty is very good and helpful. Doubts are never a problem whether it's silly or not. The teachers helps a lot during crisis. My first year was quite rough as it was a very new experience.
