Likes
- It's Curriculum. We don't have to study physics,chemistry here . We only have 3 subjects for NST which is Python, Math, Web Development for 1st year. And also have RUFP courses which is boring but it is also required for general knowledge.
- I like the Peer community of this college. They are just awesome and inspiring.
- I like the dedication of Teacher's towards the student.
Dislikes
- I don't like the mess food of this mess I mean food quality is decent but the menu of the mess is very limited. Also it's a vegetarian College.
- I don't like RUFP courses of this College. I know it's important but quite boring.
- The Schedule is quite hectic all though it's good for us.
Course Curriculum Overview
1) First of all the curriculum of this college is very industry driven. From 1st year we write code and build website. It is not so professional but still we are learning. So curriculum is top-notch. 2) If anyone have any start-up idea they can approach to Rishihood Team and they provide supprot for their idea. And out college also conduct workshop to stay updated with real-world application. 3) For improvements in the course curriculum is that there need some quality industry driven mentors. Mentors are not tood good for now. They don't have such technical skills to guide us. They only track our attendence records and contest scores. This approach should be changed. 4) we have to give exam every friday and difficulty level is moderate to hard. But in midsem and endsem the diffculty level is easy to moderate.
Internships Opportunities
I don't know all of the companies who came to our college. But I know some of the highest package company named RazorPay, Pw, Allen and etc. There stipend is around 30k -50k per month. And they got these intership for 6 months.These company came in 2nd year of our senior. Ans NST have 800+ hiring partners. so don' worry about internship oppurtunity. If you skilled enough you will get chance.
Placement Experience
Still it is new college you know that there is no certain records of placement. I am from 2nd batch of this college. But I would say it will provide enough good packages. In 2nd year you have to sit for internship as per the curriculum of this college. so out of 107 seniors, 85 students grabbed intership from the 2nd year. We hope we also be able to grab internship in 3rd year.
Fees and Financial Aid
1) Tution fees for 1st Year- 2,72,500, From 2nd year it will be-3,72,500 2) Hostel & Mess Fees- 90,000/ yr 3) Seat block fees- 50,000 4) Caution Deposit- 25,000 5) Administration & Technology Fees- 100,000 for 1st year There is also opputunity for Schloarship but it will only be applicable on Tution fees and valid for only 1st year. After that you have to score well to maintain this Schloarship
Campus Life
There is lot of clubs to explore but I am not a part of anyone. Because I didn't manage study along with it. But from 2nd year I will join one club. But if you want there is lot of club like Dancing, Singing ,CP ,DevClub and etc. Social life is good but not too good I would say. Because I already mentioned class schedule is hectic. All though overall experience is very good. My buddies are the best. We play games in the same room after contest and many more things. So don't worry you will enjoy every moment.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are quite big than other colleges. But you have to share your room with another partner. You don't have any option to live single. But trust me this is not any cons, if your vibe matched with your roomate you will enjoy a lot. Yoy can help each other in study as well. Our locality of this college is Delhi NCR,Sonipat,Haryana. This is residential college, so you don't have to worry about your daily journey for you college. Meal quality is decent but the option are limited. But don't worry you can order from online.
Admission
To be honest I don't have lot of options to join collge. My JEE and WBJEE preparation was not quite good. And also I wanted to move out from West Bengal and explore new state or city. And if you ask about why this college? I would say for the curriculum of this college. Well you can ask me why not other new age colleges like Scaler? My answer will be because it's doesn't provide me B.Tech degree because my parents want's that degree.
Faculty
The student and Faculty ratio is quite good. We have taken admission of 600 children but out of that 120 are divided in 5 section. And out of 120 60 are divided into labs. So there is no worry about doubt solving. We have to give contest every Friday with alternative subjects of NST. The faculty of this college is very good except Web Development Faculty.
Interview Experience
Yes firslty you have to clear written exam for this college which is called NSAT. After clearing that you have give interview. If you have any prior experience of coding then the chances of getting schloarship will increased. They will provide a kit for prepartion and you have to know basic reasoning and advance maths to clear this exam.
Night Life
I love the spot of Badminton court and learner's arena. We play lot of games there. The gym is decent but the probelm is it is very small. But we adjust together. And we also have football ground, tennis court, Basketball court etc. Our late-night acitivities is gaming with my buddies.
