Remarks

Everywhere there is pros and cons but we had to choose something , now as I am in my 4th year i believe that college doesn't matter where you are going what you are achieving after 4years it's you and your pride and college will just take your name just to make its placement list bigger. But according to me my college is best in every possible way as it has given me my voice to rise and my ability to showcase my skills and whatever i am today it has given me my friends who have taught many things. But the worst thing about NSEC is its roads and communication because it's in a remote place. Infrastructure is very poor some stream students do not have proper seating arrangements. It's students cell is not that active. But enjoying these 4years is important in which college you may go , enjoy to the fullest because atlast if you were destined to get the job in your dream company you will get. Good luck and wishes.

Placement Experience

2.5

For internship- There are very few companies which comes to our college for internship and i am not that lucky enough to also know if they came or not , in our branch there is no such thing called internship. This is a separate case if you could arrange something for yourself. For job opportunities - There are more fewer companies which comes to our college to offer placements and for our stream it's NIL(except TCS). We actually had to go Techno India Salt Lake, Main Campus for placement drives or sometimes some other colleges therefore we can call those kind of pool campusing where minimum of 1000 students come for a single interview so there's is nothing we had given on campus.

College Events

3.5

There are more of departmental events rather than college events. College tech fest named avenir takes place in the month of April(not every year) which includes many events. And then there is a cultural fest of our college named MESMERIZER ( which occurs once in a blue moon) but leaving these two we have our departmental events ,all the department have their events in different times and occasions some celebrate alumni , some celebrate freshers, some teachers day and named them differently like SAMHAR, MELANGE ,AGOMONI ,SMRITI, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In my time - in the 1st and 2nd Semester it was 76250 INR and 62250 INR respectively. 3rd and 4th semester 42250 INR both. 5th and 6th 43250 INR both 7th and 8th 44250 INR both. Don't know about the current and definitely has raised by some percentage. Also I don't know about feasible or expensive but MAKAUT colleges has almost same fees structure so you do not have any scope to complain against fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

During the councelling if somebody can apply through tfw ( tution fees weaver) scheme , they can avail this scheme/quota if and only if there net family income is less than some amount which exactly i don't know the amount. Through which many of my friends have got this advantage of giving 50% fees. And also there is another way if some student is an alumni of any of the techno India group school then they get some concessions exactly what i don't know. Other than this if there's is any way I don't know.

Campus Life

1.5

As I have mentioned above during tech fest there is an event for sports also , sports is a big thing in college , extracurricular activities also if somebody is interested in fashion show or some dancing or some robotix or kind of any tech craze they can always find room in our college , in case cultural and all our college is no less than any other colleges. Coming to labs , in my department labs were good but need some more kits as we students are more than the kits other than those all good.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni's are too good. Once again the thing is how you can make connections with people , they are always supportive and encouraging but how much we can take from them in terms of knowledge and make good bondings it's on us. But in my department every year we had an alumni meet where our alumni's and current students had a get together which makes our connections better and stronger. And also from this year college has taken an initiative by introducing a program called " back to classroom" where our alumnis come and speak to us about their career and how they shined in their career. So it's a good network i must say.

Admission

I got admission through WBJEE ENTRANCE EXAM , after giving the exam i had a rank. There was a COUNCELLING PROCESS which includes 3 rounds. In the very first round we need to go the center of the councelling and then we had to register ourselves with all the valid testimonials and then whatever college with stream we had got through councelling (online ) either we need to accept that or we can apply for betterment in the further rounds. I accepted in the 3rd round.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
