Remarks

If you are looking for just a degree then go for it otherwise don't come here. If you want to learn something go for any good college. Here you have to read yourself. No one will help you in studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

1

Most of the courses are available. Because it is university. The syllabus of the courses does not chance frequently. So it looks old in this new modern day. Talking about exam structure, BCA have semester wise exam so we give 2 exam in a year it written and descriptive 3 hour paper.

Placement Experience

0.5

No there is no placement. Any company does not come here. Students takes coaching and training another coachings to get placements in companies. My college does not provide any internship. You have to go somewhere else.

College Events

4.5

Yes, for events I'll give full marks. Every events are organised by university everymonth we organise 1-2 events. We recently recorded a new record in Guinness book of world record. So it's heaven for celebrations.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is not high compared to other colleges. Fees is affordable. But they increased 6k in a year in future can not say. Good point is that you get full scholarship what you paid in fee. And it is yearly fees. Not very expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there is a state government organised scholarship scheme that gives every students to pay their fees. It is available. College does not offer any scholarship or loan. Some specific students get scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Labs are good. Recently installed new computers. But shortage of teachers we don't go there to perform. It's only for show off. They could be good in future. But management is too poor here. University organise different type of sports every year.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I have not opted hostel. My friends are in hostel. Hostels are good mess is available. All the things are available. Rooms are big. It is 2 bed and 3 bed room. And hostels are the nearest to college. There are 2 big hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, all are not some are. When you are fresher they can tease you. But it's not common here. Anyone does not care senior or junior because of less interaction. But we call them 'sir'. Some are helpful and supportive.

Admission

I applied for entrance exam. Then gave entrance. Got a good rank. Attended counselling and payed the fee then I got admission in 16 july. It was easy process. You can get admission throw merit list also.

Faculty

1.5

There is shortage of faculty. In my department there is only few good and qualified faculty. Having a government university no one cares. They don't take classes. Only sometimes classes run. Otherwise stay home and prepare yourself.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Reviewed on Apr 7, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Mid-term exams are very good and they are also very tough.
