My college review

You have to give a semester exam and two internal in 6 months. BE course is for 4 years. There is a mechanics lab for 1st year which is not well equipped at all. For the ECE department, there are labs which are well equipped in the first sem, you have to read computer, math, chemistry, communicative English and mechanics. In the second sem, you have to read math physics mechanics and basic Electrical.

Thus year placement was very good. Most of the well-known companies come there, core companies of Electronics Communications and Electrical come here, placement of the Civil department is not well.

Utkrist- social in this program bands and dancers and singers called to entertain us. It is a very good program. Freshers- it is arranged to get together with freshers and seniors. Teacher's day, Tech fest, Plantation day, Independence Day, Republic Day, Viswakarma puja, Saraswati puja, etc.

If you apply for SVMCM or NSP college will help you to get it but you have to move here to there. Experience is not so good.

Most of the students are non-bengali, you can get many girl students in ECE, CSE and IT. you cannot get them in Electrical and Civil. There is a scope for singing dancing, drawing. There is a playground near the college. You can play cricket and volleyball everyday. Lab, robotics, and debate are also available.

I got admission through decentralised counselling of WBJEE. It was arranged just after WBJEE main counselling. It was arranged on 15 July. One can also enter through JEE main and WBJEE. You need not a good rank to enter in this college many seats remain empty so you can enter in it easily by decentralised counselling.

The medium as a whole. some teachers are very friendly and they teach well. Some teachers are no well at all. I think they have a lack of knowledge.
