No, there are no negative markings abt the college. There are no politics in the college thus there is a calm and peaceful atmosphere. There is a student council in college to sound the student's needs in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is semester-based perfectly structured and puts less burden on students. The exam structure is like two internals and then a semester exam in one semester. You can join various extracurricular activities and it will earn you activity points.
Placement Experience
The main companies that come to the campus are TCS, WIPRO, etc. There are no. of startups in the college itself run by the students and alumni. They provide internships to the students and conduct various workshops and Bootcamp in the college itself.
College Events
The college year starts with freshers day followed by Onam celebration, tech fest, youth festival, cultural fest, Christmas celebration, and sports day. Various workshops are also conducted in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. Different scholarships are given to students who are not capable of paying fees. The tuition fee is around 43000 in one semester + other fees with a total of about 50000 per semester. Which is also waived under different scholarships.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee waiver scheme. Which waives tuition fees based on the income of the family. There are also various scholarships provided by the central gov which the college supports. Based on the merit list also there are fee waivers for academically well students.
Campus Life
There are numerous Extracurricular activities, including NSS, basketball, football, cricket, badminton. There are also various clubs like music club, photography, gardening, nature club, etc. The labs are equipped with the latest machines and students are free to experience them anytime.
Alumni/Alumna
They are very helpful. They fund different infrastructure developments in the college. They have started different startups in the college and provide opportunities to the juniors for working with them as interns and conduct different workshops on various topics.
Admission
First, you have to write the Kerala engineering entrance exam (KEAM). Then you have to select preferred colleges as Amal Jyothi college of engineering, then allotment is based on the mark scored in the entrance exam.
Faculty
Faculty is well trained and has immense knowledge in their respective fields. They are very helpful and have vast knowledge. They help you with students' projects and give them directions. Most of them stay in the hostel so doubt can be cleared at any time.
