Pleasent enviornment college with good scenearies behind. College has got many nearby natural spots like kava island. The famous Malampuzha dam etc. Actually I loved this college and the locality more than my hometown.
Course Curriculum Overview
We are studiying under kerala technological university. We have 8 semesters for btech and 6 papers for each semester and the 8th semester with 4 papers. Each semester exams one subject has got 6 modules.
Placement Experience
Yes, the college has got good placement oppurtunities for the students, last year more than 85% of the students got placed in multi national companies like tcs wipro amazon cognaziant etc. The college has also got a placement cell. College also conducts workshops etc.
College Events
Used to conduct technical fest every 4 years. Last year we conducted Dyuksha the tech fest. There was a lot of activities and workshops were students from all colleges participated. Also we have cultural and arts fest conducted every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structures are under control of government. Its an govt aided college half under control of management nair service society. So the yearly fees is around 8000 for a govt seat. Its a normal and feasible cost.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there are a lot of scholarships provided by government. These are usually based cast and communities. And also based on their family incomes. I don't actually know about the loan facilities there.
Campus Life
Yes, it has got big football ground both for hostelites and also for the college. There is a well maintained basket ball and volley ball court, also the college has got an indoor tennis court. The college has a well maintained labs for every branches.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I am staying in hostel mens hostel 3 kaveri. Its run by the college management. The facilities here are normal type. Good food and accomodation. Also the hostel has got free wifi connections to the students. One room is shared by 3 students.
Alumni/Alumna
It has got a good members as alumini. The students passed out from here are working as engineers and luctures in many fields in various countries. The alumini association has done many things for the nearby people during flood and other situations.
Admission
By writting kerala engineering entrance examination. My all kerala rank was about 7291. I applied for electronics and communication engineering and i was alloted to this college. After counselling and interviews I got admitted here.
Faculty
Most of the faculties are friendly and helpful. But there are some faculties who are so strict and cunning. But overall the teachers are pleasent. Most of the teachers here are well experienced and some of them have even 25 and above years of experience.
